: : The true destination of perfection is the absolute absence of perection. For we are meant to teach and share from our lifes lessons, and not being perfect gives our soul alot of options to become wiser. : Reaching For Joy : KenThat's funny - last night I was feeling really down on myself for getting mad and fussing at one of my sons for being sarcastic to me. I hate being angry; I apologized to him later, and he seemed fine, but I still felt terrible. I was praying to remember to calm down before I fuss at them, to leave the room, to remember that they're just kids, and started praying to remember that I'm not going to be perfect in this life. I'll keep trying my best, and hopefully keep getting better, but I have to accept my imperfections. It's just the way it is that we're imperfect. I also pray to see the mistakes we make and challenges we face as blessings and learning opportunities. Anyway, your post about perfection jumped out at me this morning. Thanks as always for the site and your insights. :)
