Ken, what a wonderful question! I believe the purpose for our earthly existence is to develop our spirits/souls for further advancement in the heavenlies and fulfill the purposes that we set as a "life contract" with God before we were born.

What I am doing today to achieve that is appreciating each and every being in my life that has helped me in any way. I've made peace with those that either I've hurt or they've hurt me in the past. I pause more to appreciate each day God creates - the sunrises speak to me in so many ways! I'm also soon to be volunteering with hospice to help others prepare to return "home".
